Do you have a future master chef at home? Does she like to explore new foods? Is he creative? Are you looking for a fun extra curricular you kids will really enjoy?
Finally we have a local, year-round option for kids who love to cook, create and have fun in the kitchen! Flour Power- Valley Forge has recently opened it's doors and it's the solution many parents have been waiting for. Not a one off workshop or party, but consistent weekly classes designed to challenge kids with new and exciting culinary skills. Cooking classes are perfect for kids who are ready to explore their palate and dig right into the action. Since they're offered each week, you'll be amazed at their progress and eagerness to jump into the role of "sous chef" at home too! Each month introduces a new theme; each week participants are introduced to fresh and new recipes that support that theme with new skills! Young chefs rack up culinary skills, kitchen safety knowledge, and confidence as they progress through the curriculum- and enjoy more than a few treats along the way! Classes are designed to be both fun and challenging. There are four age groups for weekly classes to ensure your little chef is learning age appropriate techniques while having fun with new friends they'll really bond with who are the same age. These young chefs aren't just making mini pizzas and calling it a day. They're making pasta- from scratch. Chicken pot pie. Tarts. Edible glitter and so much more. At Flour Power, they take pride in teaching kids how to create delicious recipes start to finish- we all know homemade tastes the best anyway!
