Summertime is in full swing and things are about to heat up in Audubon! Our friends at Flour Power cooking studios are new to the area and offering exciting summer camp options that are sure to delight. With a wide range of themes and cuisines, little chefs will have the best summer cooking up a storm and making new friends!
Kids love Flour Power because:
- They get to cook real food! This is not just simple "kid" food and sandwiches. Campers learn kitchen safety and are challenged with a variety of recipes, activities and even some experiments!
- It's FUN! Kids make new friends with similar interests, play games and laugh the days away.
- They get to eat what they make! Honestly, snacks always taste better when we make them for ourselves with all the best ingredients!

- It's easy no laundry list of items to pack or equipment to buy. Not even lunch. Just drop off a kid and a water bottle and Flour Power takes care of the rest!
- It's not weather dependent. There's nothing worse than signing your kid up for a fun week of camp and it ending up a total wash out. All planned activities for camp weeks run as planned- rain or shine AND your kids will enjoy a day in comfortable, air conditioned space!

June 22 – 26: Mad Kitchen Scientist:
Never thought of your kitchen as being a laboratory? Well come join us this week and see what kind of food science we will create in our kitchen laboratory and how a scientist can also make you an artist. You’ll get to do new experiments that you can even eat. We’ll make Edible Glass, Homemade Butter, Ice Cream in a Ziplock bag, create some food that look like art and have fun with experiments like Egg Geodes, a Walking Rainbow and some Elephant Toothpaste. You won’t want to miss this camp!

July 13 – 17: Chocolate Factory:
Welcome to The Chocolate Factory, where chocolate dreams come to life! This camp is designed for young chefs with a sweet tooth and an adventurous spirit. Each day, Culinary Creators will dive into the delicious world of cocoa, creating imaginative dishes inspired by the magical chocolate factory theme. In addition to cooking, campers will participate in themed crafts and engaging STEAM activities. Kids will learn essential cooking skills and kitchen safety while exploring chocolate in new and exciting ways. Join us for a week of delectable treats, creative artistry, and innovative STEAM exploration!

July 20 – 24: Christmas in July
Celebrate the warmth of the holidays in summer at our Christmas in July Cooking Camp! Each day, we whip up festive breakfast bites, holiday-inspired lunches, and holiday sweets, all while mastering kitchen basics and diving into fun STEAM activities. By the end of the week, everyone gains confidence, creativity, and a fresh new take on holiday flavors—no snow required.
