Each week we'll take an inside look at a local library (primarily the children's sections). We'll explore the set up, toys offered, local museum passes and specialty items you may want to check out!
This week brought us to Pottstown. The Pottstown Library serves the second largest community in our area so it's rather large in a beautiful building. The children's section is located downstairs and spans multiple rooms and activity areas. When visiting this library, you'll want to park in the lot behind the building (free for library patrons) and then walk around to the front of the building to the entrance; go to the left & down the stairs to get to Youth Services. This library is also fortunate to have a dedicated team of librarians for the children and youth services needs of the community. One key feature is the "Ice Box" a brand-new chill zone for preteens and teens to utilize!
